Syntron Material Handling introduced the Link-Belt LB3000 idler series, at AGG1 Aggregates Academy & Expo in Nashville, Tennessee.

The LB3000 offers a drop-in, interchangeable design, three-way seal protection and extended service life, according to the company.

Syntron says the idler series meets CEMA mounting standards and can be fitted into competitive idler frames. The idlers have a self-cleaning felt seal and a particle excluding triple-labyrinth, resulting in greater protection.

The company also says the idlers’ tapered roller bearing design provides maximum life expectancy in the CEMA size class. LB3000 idlers are lubricated for life or re-greaseable with a grease-filled inner tube that Syntron says ensures optimal bearing life.

Additionally, the idlers have a cartridge seal design and are suitable for Taconite applications.
