The Young Leaders Annual Meeting, slated for April 23-26 at Marriott Harbor Beach Resort & Spa in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, is designed for young professionals in the aggregate industry. The meeting regularly provides opportunities for attendees to build their leadership skills and expand their network of industry contacts.

Keynote sessions bring all attendees together, and breakout sessions allow individuals to customize meeting schedules to their liking.

One speaker on tap for the Young Leaders Annual Meeting is Jeska Brodbeck, executive coach and owner of Be Light Consulting. Brodbeck works with individuals and corporate clients to help them manage stress and access a natural, more productive way of performance known as flow state. According to NSSGA, Brodbeck will teach attendees the science of techniques to achieve a level of peace and calm and access their natural genius.

While the Young Leaders Annual Meeting is typically only available to those 40 years old and younger, this year’s event is open to those 42 and younger.

“Typically, we only lift the age range for attendance during Young Leaders anniversary years,” says Ericka Baxter, operations manager at Capital Materials who currently serves as chair of NSSGA’s Young Leaders. “However, we had to miss two years of in-person events due to the pandemic. We quickly figured out that online networking is no substitute for in-person networking.

Therefore, we are inviting all Young Leaders 42 and younger to the 2023 Young Leaders Annual Meeting to help you make up for some of that lost time.”

Registration is currently open for the Young Leaders Annual Meeting, with NSSGA noting that early registration discounts apply through March 17.
