2. Assess seals for leaks or damage.

3. Ensure breather remains properly vented. The unit stays cool when the breather is not covered or plugged.

4. Check unit regularly for physical misalignment or damage. Units in high-traffic areas risk being bumped or hit by other equipment and should be checked more frequently.

5. Listen for operational noise that might indicate damage, wear, or misalignment along any part of the drive package.
